This week - 2018-04-22
This week I have been:
Computers 💻
Now I have a separate work laptop I’ve been looking at making configuration sync better between devices. I’ve re-arranged my dotfiles repo to be the right structure to use Gnu Stow, which creates symlinks in your home folder to the directory it’s run in. This seems to be a bit of a hidden but amazingly useful tool.
Garden 🏡
I spent a lot of time in the garden this week, getting some Sun and making things neat and tidy for Spring. Dead flowers and branches have been removed and I planted a Date Palm and a Hibiscus in a couple of bare spots.
I’ve put together a bit of a map of the garden. Still too much in there that I don’t really know what it is.

Life ⽣
I’ve started doing overnight oats for breakfast. It seems to be a potentially good way of controlling sugar consumption in the morning with very little effort. It also means I can make breakfast for my wife easily.
Winning flavour so far is chocolate spread… so not doing so well on controlling sugar intake. 🙂
